Something to do with the events of the past 2 weeks?

Well the forecast is no more snow/not much over the next few days and even if it does, that is THEN. You only have to look out your window NOW to realise THIS snow isn't worth worrying about-it may aswell be rain, all it's doing is making things wet.
My facebook is covered with snow comments, why? When it comes like it did a couple of weeks ago, fair enough, but at the first sniff of snow people panic/ get excited and will, as someone else said, be emptying the shelves of bread and milk as we speak. Get a grip!

Yes well so far the forecast isn't as bad as then (on Met Office and BBC websites though, not sure what has been said elsewhere). And you can tell by looking that today it is nowhere near like it was a couple of weeks ago. It's not even settling, what is wrong with people!
If it does, or ices over etc- then people can panic but why now, I just don't get it?!
ETA: Apparantly now settling in some places but I still don't think it's gunna amount to much. I half wish it would but then I think back to the time off work/cabin fever/car trouble I had and then hope not- plus.. have to brave Meadowhell at the weekend for xmas shopping!

Snow settling here in Intake.
HUGE snowflakes! Hope it stops soon and that the roads stay clear. Got to work this afternoon until 9.30pm.
If this could just come tomorrow after 10pm......I finish for Christmas tomorrow.

No! I bet you used the bread as bait....just to get nice big fat juicy birds....which you will stuff with stuffing and roast in the oven till they are all crispy

If it's settling then people start to worry/get excited which is fair enough, it's not here (as far as I can see- Batemoor). Even if it does I can't see it being like last time but then again the Met Office website could be wrong or change like last time.
