For insurance, and common sense reasons, it is a requirement that people put their names down in advance if they intend to come on a Shamblers Walk.
Walk: High Peak Trail/Monyash
Date: 14th November 2010
Start time: Meet at 10.30 for 10.45 start
Meeting point: Village green at Monyash
Approx distance: 7 miles
Approx duration: 4 hours
Route: Monyash-Flagg-Sparklow-Parsley Hay-Monyash
Terrain: Good paths on well-established paths, some road walking and several field paths
Parking: On street parking in Monyash
Refreshments: Several pubs along the route, and at the end of the walk
Toilets: As above
Public transport: Not a place to get to by public transport, so car-sharing is essential for this one

IMPORTANT: Anyone joining the walk should be of a level of fitness relative to the walk being undertaken, be appropriately dressed, have
suitable footwear, and have with them enough food and drink
for the duration of the walk.
