I'm no comic expert, but i'd say the first two Batman films are the best comic-to-film transitions ever. I like the dark, sinister feel these have. Keaton was a fantastic Batman.
The later films blew. Val Kilmer? George Clooney? No no no no. And let's just keep Robin out of it eh? The little panzy.
The worst comic to film I can think of is Judge Dredd. Truly awful. Such a missed opportunity.
Let's hope Hellboy is going to be as good as the trailer makes out.

I didn't rate the Daredevil film to be brutally honest.... Thought it was too kiddy-ised, you know, the action was too watered down so that it could get a rating for kids to be able to see it.

Bluntman and Chronic is the worst comic I ever read. Jay and Silent Bob are stupid characters. A couple of stoners who spout dumb-ass catchphrases like a third-rate Cheech and Chong or Bill and Ted. **** Jay and Silent Bob. **** them up their stupid a**es

All you <expletive deleted> will pay! you are the ones who are the ball lickers! As soon as we get to hollywood and deal with these miramax <expletive deleted> we'll get you all. We're going to make them eat our <expletive deleted> then <expletive deleted> out out <expletive deleted> which is made up of our <expletive deleted> which we made them eat.
hope people understand this, if not, apologies for anything unusual, transmission will return to normal.

Sin City is the best comic-to-film ever, actually evoking not only the themes, but also the look of the comic it was based on perfectly.

Alien Vs Predator.
The 'Graphic Novel' was an important and exciting part of my misspent youth and really is a brilliant example of what comics can do.
The film was nowhere near as bad as people made out. If it didn't have to stand in the shadow of Alien, Aliens and Predator; It would shine!

Undoubtedly the recent film Sin City. That was v dark and cleverly done. The rest are nothing in comparison. SPiderman was truly awful IMO.
