Does anyone know of a website where I can set up an anonymous blog... one that will be truly untraceable and disguise the IP address and everything?

Does the Torbutton add-on for Firefox do the same thing as a proxy server or do I need to set that up separately?

If you download the Tor Browser Bundle from here - http://www.torproject.org/download/download.html.en you get everything you need in unzipped into one folder - no need to install anything, just run it - includes a configured browser too.

Like this - although you can't see my IP I'm sure a mod will confirm the two posts come from different IPs - one telewest UK and another somewhere completely different.

If you can see the site through your TOR browser, then it may just be that it is taking a long time to respond. Using tor gives you anonymity but you pay for it in latency and connection speed.
If the forum isn't responding properly, that's not critical - test your TOR browser on the blog site you intend to use and see if it works there. If it does, all well and good!
If not, post to the thread and someone will help!

When I hit enter in the URL bar, this pops up...
The proxy server is refusing connections
Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.
* Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct.
* Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is
working.
