Fitness doubts on 2 players, see by Saturday if they can play. Just checked FA site and new signing Kyle is now registered, Chokis form has not been done yet, hopefully later on or tomorrow.

Well done Fellas!

Starting out can be very hard work, putting 11 new faces together on a football pitch with completely different styles of play is'nt easy as you all have to get to know how eachother play which can take a season to happy with many teams before you manage any for of success.

But it seems you lot are a pretty tight outfit who all want to do well for eachother and it's paying off so far. It seems as though your not only turning up to play football but turning up to win not only for yourselves, but for eachother and most importantly for Sheffield Forum FC sooo full credit to you!

Anyway I wish you all the very best of luck and hope you can carry on your impressive start to the season and hopefully even win the league!!!!!

Wll done again, shouls be proud of yourselves!

Nice touch mate, every single one of those lads gives 1000000% thats all you can ask really, and if you have a bit of talent it will show through once you have done the hard work.
Some of the football today at times was excellent considering the weather.

Todays match report, not sure who the author is to be honest...

Excellent 5-1 win today in heavy rain and high winds on an open Concord Park. Penalty from Kevin Carroll, cooly despatched after being fouled in the area put Forum 1-0 up. Shane Middlebrook then headed in from a perfectly flighted corner.

Daniel Sheedy added a third with an excellent finish from outside the area looping over the keeper. An own goal after good pressure from Ashley Matthews was the fourth leaving Forum 4-0 up at half time.

Second half Smithywood scored a fluke goal courtesy of their goalkeeper. Drop kick catching the wind, heading all way down the pitch, bouncing over Forum keeper, bouncing in front of goal again and into the net. Smithywood threatened further but Forum held tight at the back.

A fifth goal was added by Ashley Matthews with a cool finished from the edge of the area meaning both forwards have now got on the score sheet and looking to continue this in future matches.

Next match is away to AFC Phoenix on 10th October.

Up the Forum!!!

Well played lads
As PT said we had visions of having to get the AA(RAC) out to get her back to solid ground (I was thinking more like a crane but that would be a problem do they make them strong enough??) The wheels are so thin they just cut through the grass and sink down we had trouble last week and the ground wasn't wet
