Mapping world religions and religiosity.
Danny Dorling, Sheffield University

The next Sheffield Humanist Society meeting will be "Mapping world religions and religiosity" with Danny Dorling, Sheffield University

The 2nd edition of the Real World Atlas (of which Danny Dorling is one of three authors) is being published in October. It contains a new set of maps on the distribution of people around the world by religion. Danny will show these maps and examine the issues of how people people come to believe what they believe, on both religion and human nature, what it is possible for people to achieve and when we might collectively fail.

The meeting is at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday 6th October at the University Arms, 197 Brook Hill, Sheffield, S3 7HG

The University Arms is close to the tram, get off at the Sheffield University stop, and several buses including the 51 & 52, stop almost next to the pub, and the 94 & 95 a short walk away. Parking is available in the streets behind the pub.

You can see a map of the location with this link: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=univ...arms+sheffield

Organised by the Sheffield Humanist Society.
Everyone welcome.
