My brother is staying with me tonight and we fancy going out for a few bars and fancy West St Live. What is it like on a Tuesday night? Are there still live bands on or is it just recorded music?

Cheers for your help!

Allways live bands on at West St Live. The quality and genre varies a bit but that's good. Take your bro to the The Grapes on Trippet Lane too - great jukebox in the back room and a pool table too.

It will be live bands tonight, but more than likely they will be indie...

we have live bands on 7 nights a week every week and are almost always free entry, tonight is a punk/rock sort of themed night tonight but the genre of our gigs changes every single night midweek, we try and do all genres of music or at least as many as possible according to the availability of acts.

glad you enjoyed yourself! Mid-week nights after bank holidays are generally amongst the quietest of the year, we'll of course be having plenty of busy gigs in a few weeks when the students get back etc so we're all very exited here at WSL HQ.
