Ok due to a recent family loss i was thinking about considering a guide dog for my blind mother in law - the main reason im wanting to suggest this even though i will be present nearly all the time is i know how much good company they are and i would be hoping that it would pick her spirits up a little...i just need to know really a list of the pros and cons to mention to her and how i'd go about getting her a guide dog if she decided it was for her. She hates using her stick.

Thank you
