Ex Man City Burnley full back Stephen Jordan has snubbed a move to Portsmouth regardless of the fact he's just finished a tour or North America with them and is instead currently in talks with Bramall Lane officials as we speak agreeing the final terms of a contract with The Blades.

The defender with in excess of 50 Premier League starts to his name, is seen as Kevin Blackwell as the ideal addition to the squad having been searching for a capable full back for weeks, and will be relieved when Jordan puts pen to paper.

It is understood as well as Portsmouth, QPR, Coventry and Middlesborough have all been monitoring Jordan.

"Jordan went on trial with Portsmouth F.C. and joined them on their US tour, but it has been reported he has shunned a move to Fratton Park in favour of joining Sheffield United and on 5th August 2010 he began talks with the club"

Loving all the extra hype about teams monitoring him, but they didn't exactly break the sound barrier in the race to sign him. Another nobody signing from the master Blackwell lol!

Embarrassing pal!.... you lot put Sheffield to shame. What about Plymouth last season, thats what you call loyal fans.

Don't go using the 'it's on telly' excuse and it's in a land far, far away!

you lot put sheffield to shame, with the way your fans acted on the final day on the season trying to cause a riot just because you went down, and you couldnt even pay your tax bill.

you concentrate on Daggers on saturday and work out how your going to pay your next tax bill mate, because I've got this feeling your going to struggle saturday

Wednesday Win, United Lose! the beginning of a typical scenario for the coming season's weekends. Get used to it.

By the way, taking Sean Bean and 100 or so OAP's on a day trip to Westminster to moan that you were relegated is alot funnier than our relegation anyday.

I've read that theres a protest going on with you lot on saturday, business should be good then in the pub in parsons cross, landlord must be rubbing his hands,

Not half as funny as watching you lot crying when we beat you at Wembley in THE most important derby in Sheffield history!!

let them protest, as long as it doesn't affect the performance on the pitch i couldn't give a flying ****!
