T W Sampson in Receivership

T W Sampson did the work on the first phase of the Crucible refurbishment.

Then they went bust on a Friday and didn't pay their staff, suppliers and other debtors

Then a “pre-packed” phoenix company from bankrupt firm restarted the following day as Sampson Engineering Services in the same premises, same directors, same everything except the accounts with last Friday's company which were never settled

That was 17 months ago

Yesterday, the "new & improved" Sampson Engineering Services went into administration

Not a dissimilar situation to Merlin Estates really!

That's not good news, Banner Holdings Ltd who did most of the work on the Crucible have also gone into administration.

My mate worked for them a no payment from thre weeks ago and the doors are locked today to the office no one said a word to him! how do you get the money your owed from the recivers and will there be any record that he ever worked there???
