Are there any places I can get free wifi where I can sit down? I am not sure if the university has wifi. I have heard you needed a password. The library does not have wifi. I have found this out.

Starbucks have free wifi for their customers (so you'll need to buy a coffee), same with weatherspoons, mcdonalds, and a few other cafes & bars.

Cheers guys. Do you know anything about the University of Sheffield, whether or not a password is needed, and which building on campus is the best for using wifi?

If you really want some free wifi, install linux, then install the aircrack-ng suite and kismet. Then get cracking through that encryption, any fool can do it
