Would have gone either way, but if we'd have been relegated I'd have just gone to the pub earlier on Sunday! Actually I'll probably do that anyway. Breakfast in wetherspoons it is.

Aren't both teams having cheap tickets? (As in Utd as well, not Palace! It'd be pretty unfair to charge Wednesday fans a tenner and palace fans full price. Funny though.)

There was a bloke on Talksport this morning ( Palace) complaining they were paying full price. I thought it was illegal

Seriously?! Jesus that is pretty unfair! Didnt think they could do that - thought it'd be a tenner all round.

Yup had to do a double take when I heard it he was saying that he had a ticket for the game and was paying full price not a tenner??

Not sure what to think about that really. Seems unfair, but I wonder whether other clubs do it? If it's generally done, then fair enough, but if it's just one or two clubs, then its a bit off. Should be a standard practice really - either all clubs give discounts to home and away fans or they all give them to home only. What do United do generally when they have offers? (not a dig - don't do that - genuinely don't know. )

Our game on Sat was a tenner one and Swansea paid £10 also, we have 4 a year usually games where we aren't expecting a large crowd. AFAIK you cannot charge more for away fans than you do for your own fans in an "equivalent" view (reason why you couldn't charge us more for Derby 2 weeks ago away end 'restricted ' view)

As far as I know clubs are allowed to have a certain number of reduced price ticket offers per season for home fans which they don't necessarily have to extend to the away support. At least once this season Wednesday fans have had to pay full price when the home fans were paying a tenner, think it might have been Reading (which added insult to injury really!)
