It is now the last day of August. Have you had enough of the hot weather? Are you ready for some cooler autumn days?

No, I love summer and sunshine because it promotes happiness and joy.
Autumn is the tunnel down to the dark hole that is winter. Raining, miserable, depressing...
But Xmas and snow I like

true there have not been a lot of hot days this year but i mean days like today when it is hot.
Do you get fed up of being too hot, having to keep applying greasy sun creams etc. Whatever.

I'm only sick of the sun when its a workday.
They should have some weather control system so winter is spread over the working week and they can save the heatwave for weekends and bank hols

No, No, and no, I think that it should be summer all year long, I'm sure that I was born in the wrong country.
I hate the cold, How could anyone complain about the sun, when we see so little of it!!

Better than constantly being cold and wet, having to have to wear tons of clothing to keep the wind an rain out.
Give me the weather in Greece anyday over our misserable grey/depressing climate.

I get very down in winter, especially when I don't see the daylight at all. I've noticed that in summer, if I spend as much time in the sun, I feel relaxed and content. Even when I'm having a bad day, an hour in the sunshine makes me feel better.
I've come to the conclusion that humans quite simply need sunlight of which there is plenty more in summer.
So in answer to your question, I'll be gutted when it's winter again. I don't look forward to being miserable!

No i don't like mid-winter either. I prefer a more balanced day, neither too hot nor too cold.

Nope. If I ever start thinking that way I just have to remind myself of the 350 days in the year when it's not warm enough to go out in a t-shirt.

I like the hot sunny weather. I get fed up when we have prolonged bad weather in the summer.
Summer always seems such a long time coming, so when it arrives I want it to be right

I love autumn particularly, but the whole pre-Christmas period is probably my favourite time of the year. I really enjoy it when I have to get my snuggly jacket out of the wardrobe for the first time.
But January and February are pretty miserable to be honest.

The only thing that spoils the pre-Christmas period is Christmas looming on the horizon like a giant expensive waste of time.

I absolutely can't stand summer. I overheat really easily, so when I'm sat in the office and the air conditioning isn't working I end up sweating like a pig (sorry for the nasty image) and can't concentrate.
Then when I go outside, my hayfever kicks in and I can't stop sneezing. It completely ruins my life - I can't even do simple things that other people can, like go for a walk in the park.
Roll on winter - I can't wait!!!

I love this weather. I have been off work for six weeks as the result of an accident which meant us having to cancel our summer holiday abroad, and the only thing that has kept me sane is the days I have been able spend sitting outside in the garden reading. Ooh! the times I have been at work all week, and its been glorious, then come the weekend - cloud and often rain. I think we haven't had a bad summer this year, but only because i've been at home most of it!

Slim,
I must admit to being a lover of winter more than summer. I guess I just like the icy mornings that wake you up on the way to work, wearing a scarf / overcoat and the run up to Christmas. Roll on winter - I can't wait!!

I dont mind warm weather but not too hot. And just remember we might have an up and down climate but we dont have so many nasty insects and poisonous animals (well accept for a growing minority of human scum). I personally think its ok as it is. If you dont like it LEAVE !!!!.
