Has any one else in crosspool area started to get bites, we are getting them all the time now, we thought it at first was the dogs and flea's but is not it seems to be out side in the garden, bites around ankles main area, but also on rest of body, we have not been sat out at night, any one got any ideas what is biting us, and how to stop it, as the itch like mad.
Cheers

Buy Soft and Fresh Dry Oil body spray from Avon its well known for its anti insect repellant.Mel Gibson when he was filming Braveheart was badly bitten by midges, but when he used this apparently it stopped.
Also I sold them to walkers who has seen it on the internet, and my Husband takes it when he goes fishing. Its £2 .50 per bottle.
Get in touch with me if interested.

If you go to the supermarket you can buy Autan which is in a orangey yellow bottle or you could buy there own brand which may be cheaper, all you do is spray/rub on all exposed skin and that should work. I used to take this fishing and still do when i go abroard and works a treat

Take an anti-histamine (used for the treatment of hayfever)

Buy supermarket's own brand as they all perform the same function.

This will reduce the itching and any swelling you might have.

And in addition, Jungle spray is fab! (albeit a bit pungent when you first apply)

You may have a minor infestation within the home of Bedbugs.

It's said widely that Avon skin so soft is a very good insect repellent, i don't know about the other Avon product mentioned above but many a hill walker swear by SSS saying it actually works better than dedicated products containing the dreaded Deet.

Has anyone had troubles with bedbugs? Do you know any companies that help one get rid off bedbugs?

Vitamin B1 is supposed to repel them, so eat lots of marmite, or cover yourself in it.

if you go to the doctors they will tell you they are harvest mite bites, in Cumbria where I lived every year people around farms and grass verges got bitten by these little buggers they are real evil. They are so small you can't see them, but if you get antihistimines tablets off the doctors that will calm them down. for your kids you can by puriton at tesco's if your doctors are closed
hope this helps

Hi,
This sounds a bit crazy, but draw around the bites with a biro and they will go within a couple of days.
I suffer quite badly with insect bites, and once I get them they seem to last months, but tried this a few weeks ago and all bites had cleared up within a week!!
(for sone reason when I tell others about this they ask what colour- I used both blue and black!!)
