Hi blades fans
I though id do a poll to find out the best home kit of the past decade or so the mighty Blades have had. I cant get pics on so ill call then by the year(s) they were worn and i'll try to describe them the best i can!
90-92 (thin red, white, black stripes - laver shirt, blk srts & scks
92-94 (stripes with lace near collor, white shorts & socks)
94-95 (stripes red shoulders, blk shorts with srtipes at bottom)
95-96 (the very unpopular diamond shirt!, blk shorts & socks)
96-97 (playoff season kit - plain red and white stripes)
97-99 (thick stripes - one bold red stripe, black shorts & socks)
99-00 (millennium season kit sponsored by blades)
00-02 (plain patrick kit sponsored by midas)
02-04 (white arms and chest with stripes wht shorts & socks)
04-05 (plain striped shirt, red shorts & and socks)
happy voting!
personally i think the desun kit 02-04 was the best, i partically liked the white shorts and socks!

Just to be awkward my vote goes for the luminous yellow away kit of around 1990ish. You know the High visibility number much favoured by security, construction workers, stewards and the police. I heard a rumour that at one stage it also took off and was the best selling strip in the far east?

None!
Call me a triditionalist, but they should have stuck with the 30's-40's style & design
Class, pure class.
That goes for every team with history.

1988/1989 season. Dave Bassett decided to ditch tradition and go with the thin stripes.
You're right Scott, it's nice to reminisce about this kit and recall some very fond times. Deane and Agana were a class act.

Has to be the thin stripes for me only because it was the first shirt I had, was given as a birthday present I also have a signed photo of the team from that era sent to me by Dave Basset himself with a certain Vinnie Jones's autograph on it

If I had to stick to the last decade, I'd say the 'Midas' one . The one we wore when we won away at the sty last and when Santos tried to snap Andy Johnson (the crap Welsh West Brom one) in half.
The best ever is my lovely sixties home shirt (from TOFFS) with the Sheff coat of arms & V-neck.
