depends what the problem is as most of the time just individual parts of the drive are replaced, such as the laser, or the carriage, or both etc....

Google shopping will search for the cheapest prices. How are you planning to fit this drive once you have bought it if you don't even know how to source one in the first place?
I'd suggest looking on Ebay either for single drives or for faulty PS3's that you could rape for parts. Either way I'd expect this to cost you quite a bit.
This seller has drives for sale and offers £20 cash back if you send your old (faulty) drive. He probably replaces the lasers for a pittance and sells them on at a silly profit.
