I live in the walkley area and like to run in the evenings during the week and mornings at the weekends. Usually do 4 - 5 miles three or four times a week. I'd like someone to run with regularly who's slightly better as i want to improve. Or any running groups I could join that take people that are fiarly rubbish

I have absolutely NO intention of joining you with the running, I'm not one of lifes fitness fanatics, but think you may be able to join a running group with the uni? I'm only guessing but if you're in the walkley area it may be a good place to start looking?

Hi,

I'm just about to move to Walkley, and I'm keen to keep up with the running. I've only been managing to get out for a run once or twice a week for the past few months, but I've done a couple of 10Ks at weekends. We're probably doing about the same distance at the mo, and I'm also keen to improve. PM me if you fancy running together, I'll be moving to Walkley on 11th September.

Hi,
was also looking to find some running group if possible. Have been trying to get out couple of times a week around about 45-60mins body willing! only just started to get into it again and think a regular planned run with others would help with the motivation thing. Managed a 10k in April, wouldnt mind stepping it up a bit but not quite there yet. Can do evenings mainly and some weekends. Aby interest and I can give more contact details if needed. Living Woodseats way but can meet up halfway.
cheers
Janet

Hello, I live in Crookes (and am female) and usually run about 5 miles in the evenings, I'd like someone to run with for a bit of motivation, I was going to join a proper running club but I don't want to feel like I'm slowing them down! Pm me if you want to meet up.

Hi,

I've now moved over and settled in to new job and house, so should probably get going on the exercise! Let me know if you are still up for running and we'll get something sorted.

Hey, you should try Sheffield Running Club - really friendly bunch that run from Don Valley on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm. All abilities welcome and catered for and nobody ever gets left behind! There's a steady group that does 4-6 miles on a Tuesday as well as progressively faster groups that you can progress into if you want to! Thursdays we do speed endurance work, again tailored to your ability. Come down and see how you get on - we meet in the room by reception at Don Valley, ask for Dave, Mike or Nick!xx
