Why, when I'm sorting out the household accounts for the month, do I have to include my wife's perm, yet mine comes under the heading "peripheries"?

Is a wife's perm as important as a constant and reliable gas supply?

Or alternatively, Is a wife's perm as important as a constant and reliable beer supply?

Sometimes (IMO) it's better to smile sweetly and say nowt than to complain. - That way, when the boot's on the other foot, it tends not to hit you in the ar8e so hard.

Well that is a really, really rude thing to say.

You really rude people do AMAZE amuse me.

Does it not occur to you that having a lion - albeit a menagerie lion - run across your head might cause 'running into a post' disorder?

Why can't men have their hair permed? It's hair, there's perm solutions, rollers etc and there's hairdressers. Wella! Back in the 1980's my ex always had his hair permed.
