i wana get booked on a course asap, anyone know of any good local (ish) companies that can offer the package at a good price?

Have you tried the job centre? Apparently they do a SIA training course, I'm not sure how you get on to it but that's who my friend has done it through, Hope this helps

Try Safehouse at Stockbridge, Just Google it they are are very good abd offer a good price

if you are on benefits these are the once you need to contact critical skills on 08443910393 job centre will pay for it and the badge that cost £230 think they have courses in sheffield again near end of march

lol yes they are so good even people from africa who cant speak english pass with flying colours on thier courses......try initial training, and i think sheffeild colledge also run one aswell, apparently you can only get on the jobcenter course if you're a drug user or ex drug user, dont know whether that ones true or not.

My boyfriend has just done this course at castle college too, what was your friends name? There was only about 8 people doing it so he might have spoken to them x

An interesting post, who are these people from Africa who cant speak english? The BLACK people I work with have very good english both spoken and written, also their social skills seem an improvement on many of the WHITE persons who enter this industry. Also your comments regarding drug users, if you dont know whether this statement is true why publish it?
