Seen them in argos but it's 14 day delivery. Does anyone know where I could go and collect one today?

Ikea certainly do some chair-beds, don't know if they have any futon-style though.

I did have a look on their website but it isn't the easiest site to navigate. Could do with somewhere closer really.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that - the search facility is rubbish!

But if you can't find anywhere closer, I can recommend this one, it's a lot more comfy than futon and you can get lots of different covers to match your decor.

If it's only for short-term use, have you considered one of those inflatable air mattresses or a camp bed - neither would take up much storage space.
