Do you mean the one in Chesterfield? If so it was last week.

The one in Chesterfield was closed today. My son was supposed to be attending a party there but it was cancelled this morning.

Just done some research and on their facebook page it's saying the nursery and the play centre are both shut. No reason given as yet.

My little girl's birthday party is being held there on Sunday. Not a word from Easy Tigers - in fact we confirmed all the details only last week. Cannot find any evidence that they've gone into liquidation, but have heard that the signage has been removed.

Will research comprehensively tomorrow. Perhaps the directors will be willing to host the party at their house! That WOULD be sweet.

My Sons party is on the 14th, I read that it was closed on gutt.co.uk so I phoned and was told by the staff that it had gone bust!
I was told that the I would be contacted by the recievers to get my £30 deposit back... which I think is a bit tight.
We have managed to get in at Chocolate by Design for a kids chocolate party. Could be messy but it sounds fun

Oh no ! my kids love Easy Tigers too ! Can't believe they've gone bust, always been packed when we've been to parties there. Cheeky Monkeys used to have a place in Matlock but that closed a while ago I believe and not so good as Easy Tigers either. Must keep an eye on this as we are wanting to book again soon.

My little one went to nursery there. We had a phone call late Tuesday evening (2nd Feb) to state that everything was closed with immediate effect and not to bother turning up in the morning. All the staff have lost their jobs.

It was very upsetting, it is a huge upheaval for parents to find immediate nursery places that are 'up to standard' elsewhere, not to mention how distressing it must be for the many staff that are now looking for jobs in what we already know is a difficult time. Plus, I can't imagine what it must have been like for parents to tell their kids that their birthday party has been cancelled.

We have no idea and have not been told the circumstances behind this. There are rumours that it has been purchased by another local nursery provider but, that they intend on not giving back the jobs to a large majority of current (very experienced) staff and also intend on changing opening times etc.

We don't know if the previous owners have went into liquidation as there was no notice of such (and normally there is). We were told that we would be contacted regarding refunds of fees paid in advance but, won't trust this until it happens (if it does). If it hasn't gone into voluntary liquidation, it has to be 'forced' and it's down to creditors to declare that they have an interest - receivers don't normally contact you - or at least that's my understanding.

We own Captain Jack's soft play centre in Retford and know Claire and Neil from Easy Tigers. We know how much hard work and love they have put into the business and how sad they will be to have to let so many parents and children down. It may be too far for you to travel over to Retford but if you are struggling with a lost party booking we will give all Easy Tiger customers 20% discount on parties - proof of chesterfield or sheffield address needed. We wish the Easy Tigers team all the best for the future.

Chuffin hell, there's naff all in Chesterfield for kids to do inside. Didn't use ET that often but it's nice to have it there as a back up on a rainy day.
