Shirecliffe / Southey Green Burglaries

Hi. It seems that teenage scrotes are breaking in houses in Shirecliffe / Southey Green at the moment.

Heard another alarm today & then a white youth about 20yr old, with white tennis style trainers, baseball cap & grey towling style jogging bottoms came shooting out from behind some houses and legged it down road. Shortly after police helicopter was up & lots of police including dogs / dog van. Police confimed that is who they were looking for.

Be on your guard they usually hit between 2 and 4pm.

Someone must know who these scrotes are? They've got to be someones' son / relative / neighbour.

If you're not careful they might hit you next, so if you know anything don't keep it to yourself no matter how small the detail.

If you know anything please tell the police!

we know who it is but everytime police are told they wont respond ive seen the scum comming home with allsorts his mother sells stuff to a certain person with a van late at night tvs computers etc seems police cant be a*sed these days will say one thing they live on morgan ave

I've been hit twice in the space of a month in this area.

The first was between Christmas and New Year when the house was burgled AND the car stolen. We're talking TV, computer, electronic items, etc.

The second was on Monday evening this week when they broke into the garage through the roof and ransacked it leaving considerable damage to the roof.

I urge you, if you do know who this is or have information which the police could use, please do so.

My daughters just got a house on shirecliffe an they broke in and stole the boiler, makes me sick

Two blokes

just been chased off mine and next doors back yard I dare not go down garden to check hut

so lock up please this happened about 20mins ago.

I lived in this area for nearly 20 years, I moved out 15 years ago. The reason why I moved was because I got burgled. Its a terrible shame that after all this time, it's still the same.One of the main problems I had when I got burgled was that everyone knew who was responsible but nothing was done. The "big families" think they are above the law and just close in to protect themselves.

I've never been burgled prior to this and have lived in Shirecliffe for several years without fear of crime. I don't think this is a regular thing, it's a wave of crime that has swept across the estate.

It's all over, it's a nationwide problem, who do we blame Labour? well if the Tories get in we'll see more cuts to offset the national debt so expect more.

We're in a no win situation.

Revolution of Britain is required, a change of democracy is needed big time.

Might sound extreme but it's a fact!

Yeah point taken, Southey Green is safer then Millhouses IMVHO.
