The only thing that would put me off is any potential problems reselling at a late date. I don't know how many people it is an issue for though.

Thanks everyone .....my son and his girlfriend are just about to put an offer in on one and they were wondering what others would do regarding the number...it seems not to bother too many so should be ok when they come to sell...

I'd buy a house that was number 13, 666 or whatever, they're only numbers.

But people with a certain mindset, if they had a number 13 house, everything bad that happened to the house they would blame on the number. For example:

Woman - "Oh my god there is a leak in the roof , I TOLD YOU WE SHOULDN'T HAVE GOT NUMBER 13!"

Man - "mm"

I definitely would but I might pretend to be superstitious to try and get it a little cheaper maybe.

I live in a house that should be number thirteen but it is number fifteen,on one side is number seventeen and on the other is number eleven.
Every family that has lived in this house which has been built thirty years has died off.
we were the fourth family my partner died two years ago suddenly.

And I don't feel very good just now..

I would.

My birthday is also the 13th, so its not unlucky for me. I used to live at a 13.

However my current road, it goes 11 (me) then 15. Theres no 13

There's a no. 13 on our road, but I know of one that has 11,11a,15. Seems pointless really. Presumably the developers who built the estate were wary of people being put off.

No. 13 wouldn't put me off buying, but I could never live in a house that was 11a. It's not even a real address, it's as if you have a shed around the back of No. 11 or something. If I ever bought one it's be going back to 13 straight away.
