Brian Laws looks like he has got the Burnley job, maybe their chairman isn't as clever as strafford.

there been more developments today?
no doubt he's a good manager and maybe his football will suit the Premiership more, who knows ... all i know is he started to struggle at Hillsborough, looked like the players had lost faith in him and for that he had to go... I think i'd prefer irvine to Laws (and so would a few Burnley supporters i noticed on their BBC 606 forum)
i hope he gets the job, good luck Brian
just seen it on Sky Sports News: Laws & O'Driscoll on the shortlist it seems

You pigs dont half amaze me sometimes with statements like this.
Not 2-3 months ago Laws was the best thing since sliced bread, best manager in the world with what he had to work with, no money BLAH BLAH F*&^&*%^&K BLAH.
IrvSWINE hasn't even been in charge for one match and run probably 3 practice sessions and you prefer him to Laws

And you lot don't surprise us at all with the amount of bitterness you show in your posts. We're just supporting our new manager.

Supporting? Do you not listen to your own fans, many are jumping on him already because of his rumoured boring style of football, and the fact that he's not Kevin Keegan, Marcello Lippi [Insert any other 'Big Name' Manager Here].

Just like you have the last 10 managers in 8 years is it ? Cant be arsed to count because i would need a calculator.
You lot have had more managers than the local KFC.
P.S. Theres no bitterness in my posts just some honest truths that you lot dont like to hear.
Answer the question, was Laws not the best thing since sliced bread a few months ago, Didnt you lot keep going on abaout him not having the money to spend blah blah blah ????????
And as for Scooby--- Why 3 months ago would you have changed Laws for irvswine ? He was just starting his run of 8 matches without a win with Preston and probably losing the dressing room as well, what happened to the lets get behind our manager and sleeping giant of a team

Why not, big club steeped in history, sleeping giant, should be in premiership, capapable of getting 30,000 every week unless its Palace at home in the Cup.
You keep ramming down our throats that your club has staged world cup games, fa cup semi finals, more world cup matches coming up in 2018 and you get Irvine while Laws is probably going to Burnley
The joke that is SWFC never lets us down

I was just highlighting that the angelic Wednesday fans are just as fickle as the rest of us.
AI is a good appointment, but needs to get off to a good start, otherwise that small minority (who shout the loudest) will be on his back from the off!

You're right Alex, they probably will and are probably the ones you've heard so far... but the clue is in your post - minority.

for the same reason im glad he's in charge of us now ... his record at this level is excellent and if you wanna go back a little further than these 3 months u mention we can look at when West Brom wanted him as manager in the summer ... at the start of this season A.I was rated as one of the best managers in this division (still is for me) and no-one would have believed you if you said he would be Sheffield Wednesday manager by January
all in all out of Ferguson, Reid, Worthington, Megson and the other names that were mentioned i think we got the best guy from the avaliable choices
gotta be better than Blackwell lol
