I know this game was called off because of the pitch, but id imagine with it being by the coast the roads and pathways will have been pretty dangerous with the frost also, i bet it's bloody baltic over there.

Blackpool is on the west coast and the climate is usually a lot milder than the east - they rarely have snow over there. "Baltic" weather is far more likely to be found in Scarborough and the like.

It's strange that it's been called off then really, it says on the weather over there that there minimum tempreture today and tonight will only be -1?
Compared to Scarboroughs -3??????

Blackpool don't have undersoil heating. Their match with WBA was also called off earlier this month.

Presume some parts of the pitch won't get the sun on them to thaw it out so even if temp is only minus 1 then Blackpool games liable to be called off.

And to think they have a serious chance of promotion to the Premiership, what a joke lol.

Does anyone really feel they can hold their current form until the end of the season.

Still cant help but think that they are punching above their weight, its only a matter of time before the bubble bursts.

A few years ago you wouldn't have dreamt for the like's of, Hull, Bolton, Wigan, Wolves, Burnley, Stoke, Sunderland, Fulham and Birmingham to be all in the Premiership at the same time.
And have the likes of Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday , Sheffield United, Derby County, Crystal Palace, Middlesborough, West Brom, Leicester, and Leed's all below them.
It's a sign of the time's unfortunatley....

yea, hursty seemed up for it, hopefully still is. not sure how long it takes to decide when it's being played, it's surely going to be a weekday game now though isn't it?
