Hi, we need to give three Roborovski Hamsters away.

Rehome or Sale?

Rehome

Reason for Rehome / Sale

To cut a long story short, we started off with four hamsters, that suddenly became nineteen! Most of the babies have now been rehomed but these are just four months old and are in need of a good home, preferably with experience looking after Roborovskis.

Location

S21

Has the Pet been in Rescue Previously?

No

Can the animal be picked up and put into a basket without the risk of scratching or biting?

Yes, although they are very timid, they could easily be tamed, we just lack the time!

Age & Sex

4 months old, all males. They have been together since birth and as a result we have never witnessed any fighting.

Breed/ Mix

Roborovski, sandy-grey fur with white eyebrows and bellies.

Can the animal be groomed/handled without biting or scratching?

They have never bitten us, but they are only handled once or twice a week at most. They enjoy running around in a hamster ball more than being handled!

Live in / out

In

Neutered/spayed

No

Chipped

No

Any Current or Historical Health or Psychological Issues

No

Temperament

Excitable, FAST!!!! They can be rather nervous when handled.

Any special knowledge needed

Not suitable for children, older, responsible teenagers and experienced adults only please due to their nervous nature and sheer speed!
