Hi i hope some could please help. I had a new heating system fitted in september this year a Worchester Greenstar 24i combi boiler with 5 radiators. Last week they was a problem with the boiler and water was leaking out i called a worcester heating engineer and it was a washer that was at fault. Since then two radiators up stairs in my home have cooled down even though i have it set on 5. The boiler is down stairs in the kitchen. I do not want to call them out again as they my charge me for something that i could do myself. please help

Can you bleed the radiators? Would seem like the obvious first thing to try

Seems to me like you need to make sure that the water is topped up to the right pressure and the radiators are bled.
As long as you have the boiler key, and a rad key if you need one, you can do all that in about 5 minutes.

yes.

Get a radiator key from wickes, or b&q or somewhere. They are between 50p and about £3.

Basically you let the trapped air out and the water then fills the radiator right up to the top allowing them to get fully hot.
When you have finished you need to top the water up again in the system by letting more in at the boiler.

On a Worcester boiler, there is normally a key to do this.

If your system is new the bleed nipples may be opened with an ordinary flat screwdriver as they have a slot to accommodate this.

Ring and ask them for advice, if it is a new system then they should not charge you if you follow their instructions and it still doesn't work.
