there are 10 puppies that were born in the pound looking for new homes- their mother is a mastiff type x breed, there all beautifull chunky pups with lovely markings- and will be 8 week old on the 12th.

Are they the tan/tan and white/white ... they look gawjus!! Saw the pix on the site. They'll make lovely house dogs for some lucky people. *yearn*

hi ruby they are all brindle but each one has lovely individual white bits on them verrrrry nice looking pups.......and they are some kind of mastiff cross but not too big the mum is about a small lab size .....but then again, the dad is unknown...so they could be fathered by a chihuahua or a great dane ha ha

These little cuties werent born at the RSPCA they were brought in by the owner and are what is left out of a litter of 18..yes 18. they are some sort of bull crossbreeds and are in need of good homes asap as the RSPCA will not rehome them after the 17th dec.

The RSPCA don't rehome at christmas, to emphasise the point that a dog is for life etc.

They prefer to keep them in the kennels than put them into warm loving homes.

They wont be pts but the rspca does not rehome animals that are likely to be for xmas presents, as very often it doesnt work out so it would be better to get these pups out to their forever home asap

That's a relief! I don't think anyone could argue with their reason though. Christmas must be the very worst time for any animal to go to a new home, let alone a puppy or kitten.
