Does anyone know of any good nights out for the over 40s? (not singles or grab a granny event)

We get lots of people aged 40+ enjoying their nights out at West St Live every weekend- in fact I'd say around half of our customers are aged over 40 :-)

I remember in my mid 20s going to Turn-ups at Nether Edge, where they had a disco and also a bar/pub type area. Most of the clientele were mid 20s to 60s and it was always good night out.

I wish someone would do something like that now, even if it was only one night a month! I'd definitely go somewhere there aren't any students/kids and there's a quietish chill out area. Even in pubs these days you can't seem to have a decent convo, the music is always blasting out as though you're in a club. Sorry to moan
