My mate paid about 25 quid to get hers fixed and then straight away had another problem with them. I wouldn't bother to be honest. I had a pair for about two years, then they fizzled and died. They are just too unreliable to warrant the pricetag in my opinion, I bought babyliss pro 230 and have had them longer and they are great.

I'll try and find out for you. I'm pretty sure it was someone who has a sign in a shop window on Abbeydale Road.

if you have got the box for them you can send them back to the manufacter and they replace them free, i did with mine think there is a fault with them, not sure of the address but if you google it you will find it, its in leeds somewhere i think... usually get them back within 2-3 weeks, not good around the crimbo party season tho

Straighteners are a magic wand, they turn frizz into sleek. Wouldn't be without mine. I even have a back up pair. Just in case.

My first set exploded on me - the bit where the wire is connected just started chucking out sparks all of a sudden - I called GHD to see if they would replace them but they wouldn't, they said that as they were out of warranty (about a year and a half old), they could only repair them, but I would have to send them to them with a cheque for £40. I didn't bother, just bought some new ones.

Anyway, I think I saw a sign at the key cutting place in Morrisons Hillsborough advertising someone who fixes them!!

Not entireley sure what women get up to in the privacy of their own boudouir. I can't live without my womans treasures but don't care if they're curly or straight or what voltage they work on! Gotta go now before I get banned ! (am I missing the point here?)
