I think united should try to sign basso from bristol until the end of the season and then let him and paddy fight it out for the number one spot. Bunn and bennett just aren't good enough for the lane.

Look's like Tom Soares is the other from Stoke, it's been agreed between both club's but some paperwork need's doing before the 5pm deadline.

this one i think is a good signing ... hopefully bring some attack minded midfield play to us - am im right in thinkin he's an attacking midfielder but can play on wings, behind the striker role etc ???

He's only 23, an ex England u21 international, from the info im getting he prefers playing in central midfield, but has been used on the wing on occasions.
I think he's a decent little signing me and also proven at Championship level after playing 149 games for Palace.

i think this is a good signing, still a little diasppointed about the striker but hopefully soares should bring us something we havent had in a while, which is an attacking midfielder, potter and o'connor as much as a think they are decent players they just dont run at the defence and support the strikers as much as we need.

I don't think ive seen either Potter or O'conner run with the ball more than 10 yards since they have been at Hillsborough, so like you say a welcome addition (if they do the paperwork on time that is).
