I read somewhere in the dim and distant past that you can't run two Ipods on one computer. Hubby has one and I'd like one too, but we have totally different musical tastes.

You can, in theory it shouldn't affect it as long as you name each one differently iTunes should remember and maintain the lists (so long as you 'manually manage music') - I know multiple iphones work fine without messing up, and it's the same principal.

The best option is for each of you to have an account on the computer and so separate music libraries.

What Harry said or you could always have a playlist each and put everything in the central library.

There is a way of using the same user and same Itunes installer to have 2 apple devices on 1 machine.

We are running 2 Iphone over 2 computers, able to use both on both.

You can setup custom sync rules for each device. If you want more info on how to it, drop us a PM and Ill foward you some intructions.

You can also txt me on 07999 400 447 and Ill call you to talk you through it...its dead simple when you know what your doing!

Yes - you don't need to do anything - I use an iphone, a 60gb ipod, an 80GB and a Nano.
iTunes recognises each device seperately so you can do what you want with it.

Using seperate music librares is making a problem where there isn't one.
