Donovan was very popular in the early 70s. His soundtrack from Franco Zeffirelli’s
‘Brother Sun, Sister Moon’ (1973), a dramatization of events in the life of St. Francis of Assisi, is quite beautiful.

His other hits include:

Lalena

Mellow Yellow

and Lazy Day

Agreed CW ... Brother Sun, Sister Moon ... completely beautiful ... a lot of Donovan's music has this kinda 'mystical fairytale edge' ... simply magical.

Some of his more well known hits were:

Colours
Catch the Wind
Jennifer Junniper
Hurdy Gurdy Man
Sunshine Superman

But I kinda like a lot of his less we known stuff ...

He's gone downhill since Kylie ditched him.
