I need a bathroom floor retiling. The bathroom measures 1.6m x 1.55m and there's the sink and toilet to tile around.

I need a professional tiler. I mention professional as this was tiled around a year ago and he did a crap job. I need a proper job doing, door plate and so on and grout lines that aren't 2 inches thick. .

The house is in Eckington. I'm rarely there so I'd like a quote online for labour and all materials (grouting, floor plate, silicone, sub floor, etc) excluding the tiles which I'll buy.

Cheers all . . .

You'll get a better job if the w/c & basin are removed first.
Most of the stuff we do has 2mm grout lines.
I doubt you'll get anyone to quote on line as you haven't stated the state of the current floor surface and also the type of tile you choose will dictate what adhesive is required.

If someone quotes blind then ignore them! There are so many variables in a job like this. If you want it doing properly then get a few quotes from tradesmen with plenty of feedback/references and make sure they come and look at the job.

I would say take out the sink and WC for a proper job.

'Cheap' and 'quality work' are not two words you find in the same sentence either. Not that you mentioned that, but don't necessarily go for the cheapest.

Also I would consider having the original floor covered in 9mm ply or even 12mm if its original floorboards. This gives a better substrait, but on the down side raises the floor a bit and impacts on sink, WC and door replacement.
