Does anyone live near to a property that houses Nomad people? If so what are your experiences?

They're not a landlord and they don't have properties. Along with lots of other organisations in Sheffield, they give housing related support to a huge range of people.

Nomad????

What do you mean....someone who is homeless???

Then surely they have no home? Why would you live next to them. Or are you saying that everytime you wake up and open your curtains your property is in a different location?

So you obviously have some thoughts about the property and perhaps the type of people it houses....in which case just put your thoughts rather than eliciting other people to put their experiences first...one's, if they are damning enough perhaps will be enough validation for you to put what you are currently thinking.

Be upfront....what's on your mind?

I don't want to post anything that may be deleted julado, suffice to say that my family have been subjected to months of >blank<, resulting in me and my daughter being threatened in the street... Police, landlord and Nomad don't want to know. Need I say more?????

I can't believe that NOMAD "don't want to know" about the problem you have with your neighbours. I have had lots of experience working with NOMAD and they provide fantastic support to vulnerable people in order to help them maintain their accommodation and live more independently. The experience I have had from NOMAD has been very positive and I have always found them very approachable and helpful. TeaFan is right, NOMAD are not landlords and they don't own properties, they just provide invaluable housing support. However, I'm sure if you arranged a meeting with NOMAD to discuss your concerns, they would speak with the landlord of the property to try and help you resolve the problem.

The police and Landlord should be doing more, NOMAD is the charity.
