I’ve been looking for a place to hire out for my 18th Birthday in February.
Any ideas? I want a club e.g. So-yo etc. but somewhere that won’t need ID on the door to get in as there are going to be people under 18, but still sell alcohol inside... Help please ha-ha!

Sorry but you're very unlikely to be able to find anywhere based on what you're asking for. Pretty much all clubs/bars (especially on West Street) have door staff who will ask for ID on entry. The law is stricter than ever these days, places risk get shutting down if they aren't being seen to be stringent on letting in people under-age.

It's clear that you're wanting somewhere that will serve alcohol, despite the fact that many of the party will be under-age. Don't mean to be abrupt but you've got no chance.

And that's before you even start thinking about trying to hire one of these places out!

You can hire Embrace out, well a room, and in all fairness, if you're on the VIP, they wont ask for I.D. You can also have a VIP thing at Players.

went to a private party at bar 360 not long back you could give them a try not the biggest of places but could be just what you are lookin for
seem to remember a few young uns knockin about, anyone over 18 will get served anyone under found drinking alcohol will be chucked out along with the person who bought it

Theres a bar called Cutlers on that little row between Casbah and RSVP and that has a bar inside and a revolving dance floor too - and I vagually recall being ID'd once inside buying a drink and not on the way in about 18 months ago.

try crystal suit on calver st just off west st,they hire the upstairs roonm out for private parties we had my daughters party there
