I'm looking to buy some driving lessons for a friend who lives in Stocksbridge. Can anyone recommend a good instructor?

He works near Centertainment, so I guess he could start his lessons there, or just do them in and around Stocksbridge.

Everybody I know learnt with the Conroy school of motoring. My OH's nephew, his girlfriend and my OH's nieces boyfriend all learnt with Robert (i think!) Conroy. My sister learnt with his wife who doesnt teach anymore and I learnt with Steph their daughter. I passed in 6 months and Steph was brilliant. Still friends now and i really enjoyed my lessons!! Steve ibbotson is great based in stocky and he picks you up from work if you want. He is well known in Stocksbridge and Deepcar and i know loads of people who have passed with him. Not sure of the number though sorry

All my family (including myself) were taught by Robert Conroy.
I can't rate him high enough to be honest, a lovely bloke and a great teacher.
