Hi all..I am new here. I have a baby boy age 6 years old and a girl age 7. When I was pregnant with my baby boy, I got into a terrible marriage. The father was a jerk.

He used to smoke around me when I was pregnant and as a result of that my boy now seems a bit slow compared to the other children his age. At first I thought it was nothing but now he is 6 years old and i am getting nervous.

Can any parents here recommend any vitamins/health supplement that I can give my kids? Recently I got divorced and started living a healthier lifestyle and I am totally into natural stuff.

Thanks,
Sherry

Sherry, children your age really don't need any expensive health supplements or vitamins.
Just try and give them a healthy balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg and as much fresh air and exercise as you can get them to enjoy.

You've already made a commitment to enjoy a healthier lifestyle, just include the kids as much as poss. Good luck.

I think your little boy will be fine, i am no expert but you could always ask your local health practice to do a carbon monoxide test on him (breathes into a tube and they tell you how much he has in his lungs) I know they did one on me when i was pregnant cause my partner smokes.

Try not to worry too much hun.
