Hi,
I'm thinking of moving to Worrall and just wondered what it is actually like?
Have had a good look around and it all seems really nice, noticed the community board with lots going on. I'm looking for somewhere that has a strong community feel. Previous messages posted last year all seemed pretty positive. Is the bus service good and how busy is Worrall Road itself?
Should I make the leap out of the city centre?!
Thanks

Lovely spot.Wonderful views and lots of doorstop walks. Most of the community stuff done well by a usual hardworking core but not very well supported by the community at large.2 nice pubs.Bus service not brill-and no good for shopping!People move there to be in the school catchment area, but teenagers need ferrying everywhere as there's not much to their taste in village life.Great place to grow up.

You may notice they are also a little behind most people in the outside world as there aren't many posting on here in its defence. Either that or generations of unwillingness to leave the village has led to inbreeding and the return of un-opposable digits, hence they cant type

Or maybe they are all busy checking that none of the neighbours have better cars than they do, or are having an extension built or anything like that

I live in Worrall, and I love the place, we get either cows or sheep in the field behind our home which is great fun for my little lad.
Only 2 downsides really
1. We would be stuck without our car though as the bus service is poor at best, and 4x4 for winter as since moving here it has snowed every winter.
2. Regarding the community, the work is carried out by an elite few, who for the most part friendly.
