Old pc new case advise

got a pc that is 12months old, gigabyte mobo,athlon 2.4 etc etc.
2 questions - can i easily transplant it str8 into a simiar case i.e power supply etc.?
does anybody know of cases which have drop down flaps when the drawers open.? m8 has a packard beel system with this facility.
built from scratch b4 but trying not to c**k the system up.

Just buy any old ATX case, and transport the whole lot other

like SC said, just so long as yours isn't branded (which might make it impossible or difficult).

Ignore me - I just saw that you said "built from scratch".

answers one part o fthe question so thanx a lot, any idea who does the cases with "flaps". just tried ebuyer with no success.

I had a case on a pc at work which had the drop down flaps over the drive bays. I got it from dabs and I *think* it was either an Aopen or Asustek one - but the photos are small enough that I can't really tell at a glance

I have to ask why you particularly want a case like that though? I can't say it made it look any nicer than any other case, in fact it was positively cheapo plastic and nasty - and if it's aesthetics you could just get one with a hinged cover that hides the whole front?
