Hi All,

Has anyone recently been on a flight with Virgin atlantic and not a member of their flying club?

or have you booked a flight and going away soon but didnt realise they had a flying club?

Send me a message and I can send you a link to join the club.

Yes I get something out of it but so do you.. I get 2000 points but you get 3000 points.

So please drop me a message with your email address and i can invite you to join the club.

You only need 25,000 to get a free return flight to New York.

Please help me out

Ah just remember to get 25k miles / points for a red Flying Club member you have to fly for example i think 7 returns to NYC, average cost say £350 in economy so thats just under £2.5k spent

Now your free flight, its not really free as you will no doubt have to pay all the taxes ect on the flight.

So you book a reward flight to NYC using 25k of miles, based on a economy ticket price of say £350 your still going to have to pay around £200 in taxes & fees, meaning you have to spend £2.5k to save only £150.

Really only makes it worth while if you book a reward flight in Upper Class but you then need 90000 miles / points for a UC flight to NYC but you do get a 2k ticket for about £300 or do a miles for upgrade, book economy but use X amount of miles to upgrade to the next cabin up.

If you're thinking of flying economy class check your leg length first because V.A have the smallest leg room of any airline I ever flew on

Ah ive never had to do long haul economy, when you have a seat pitch of 198cm no legroom problems when flying F with British Airways.
