When the world ends, if doesn't matter if a poster on here had invented a cure for AIDS - the world will be over, and we'll all be dead - good, bad and indifferent!

When all life has ended,the only thing that will matter will be the Eternal Fact that Something has Once Existed. This in itself is enough to ensure that ones personal conduct is as it should be. It is not enough for denial of God or heaven and hell, to make some people think that they can be excluded from moral responsibility. There is also in this life; Cause And Effect. Either way the temporary nature of things does not mean that it is futile. Far from it; it is important because consciousness or collective awareness does shape the world, and its Eternal Facts.

I hope you do what Saul of Tarsus did.
From being a murderer and a persecutor of Christians, killing many of them he became a Christian himself. He wouldn't change like that without a very good reason which may have been the eye witness accounts he will have heard about the resurrection of Jesus.
