This weekend, as a celebration of all things summer-like, we've cooked up a real sizzler of a night for you all..... and you can add to that the rather awesome fact that it's the return of the LEGENDARY PLUG FREE PARTY - Free for all, all night!!
It’s time to don the shorts and shades and get yourselves down for our Ibizian Beach Party to celebrate the launch of Plug's new secret garden.
We’ll be putting in a real beach in the car park with Beach Volleyball, and a Surf Simulator to test your skills on, and after all that activity why not chill out on the Deck and taste the awesome BBQ courtesy of our friends at Think BBQ…
Be sure to get dressed for the occasion and flash the flesh in your sexy shorts, vests,
bikinis and don’t forget those all important sunglasses!
Also to jazz the evening up a touch more and give it that all important carnival vibe we’ll be giving out free Garlands for all. Arrrriba!
But what about the music I hear you cry! Well, it’s going to be just as hot as the Ibizian sun itself…. Plug residents LJ FREEMAN and GEOFF TICEHURST will be pulling out the stops for another legendary all night back to back session. LJ, fresh from BORA BORA and various other Ibiza hotspots, will be bringing some of the wicked funky techhouse he’s known for and Geoff will be bringing the usual chunky beats and basslines that rock the crowd week in week out. These guys play alongside, and regularly outshine, the guest DJs every week at Plug so they sure know what makes Sheffield tick. What with the Ibiza theme, the hot tunes and the no doubt double sexy crowd this weekend is set to be a scorcher!
In the main room, Dave Henning delivers an unrivalled mix of dance anthems and floorfillers.
Dave is one of Sheffield’s best known and loved DJ’s, and for the last 10 years has consistently worked in the most prestigious clubs in the UK. As well as the club stuff, he has worked for several of the North’s biggest radio stations, including Sheffield’s very own Hallam FM.
Saturday nights are all about hearing the new tunes you love, and the ones that take you back to moments you thought you’d forgotten…..
From the ‘hands in the air’ of Faithless and Darude, to the anthemic sound of David Guetta and Kelly Rowland, and the banging beats of Dizzee Rascal and the Black Eyed Peas, one thing is guaranteed… you’ll know and love every tune you hear.
