Try as I might, I cannot fathom out how to use several quotes at once. I've seen some posters use 3 or 4 quotes from others before their post, help please

The multiquote button is the one to the right of the normal quote button- the one with the piece of paper and the quote marks on.
If you wanted to quote posts 2,4,5 and 8 from a thread you would click the multiquote button on posts 2,4 and 5 and then click the normal quote button on post 8, which should then post all of your collected multiquote posts in one reply box.
When you reply to each quote in turn please remember to leave the [ quote ] and [/ quote ] tags intact at the beginning and end of each quote to allow them to be presented in a quote box and with the name of the person you're quoting all printed automatically.

The multiquote button has only been around for the last few months- before then copying and pasting from one window to another was the only way.
This one's much less of a faff, when you get used to it

It doesn't de-select them automatically though .
I'm not a geek honest . I only figured that out, when I selected a few posts, changed mind, then later went back to post, all the ++ were still there, even if you are posting on a different thread they are still saved - (however in small writing at the bottom, it does tell you that now, not sure if that's a new addition).
