Jackie has just rung me to say she's had a sudden deluge of numerous cats and is desperately in need of a foster carer for a single cat in need of urgent TLC.

She needs someone to come forward immediately due to the circumstances the cat is in.

All offers of assistance to Jackie directly on (0114) 245 7181 as soon as possible. Please ensure you leave your name, contact telephone number and reason for your call CLEARLY if the answerphone kicks in as Jackie may have her hands full down the Sanctuary.

Can anyone out there help?

Many thanks xxx

I cant help as I am taking in a cat from th forum but it might help if there was a bit more info as to how much 'care' the cat will need etc. eg does it need to be someone with no other cats, someone who is at home most of the time etc etc

Unfortunately this is all the information I have.

Jackie has asked me to simply appeal for a foster carer to get in touch as she has insufficient space at the Sanctuary for all the cats which are arriving tonight.

Jackie already has my number and knows that I'll take fosters whenever, so there's no point in me ringing again.

Phew, just in time someone has just been to rehome two kittens and this has freed up a chalet for the little poorly chap just passed in to Jackie. She's taking the puss to the vets on Monday cos it looks quite poorly. Thanks Medusa for your very kind offer. I'll mention it to Jackie again altho the name Medusa will mean little to her, her not having a PC! She falls about laughing when I mention Little Mermaid, Haddockman etc!! x

Glad to hear that things are not quite as desperate for space.

Jackie knows my username- we've met before and she knows my history with the Shelter and SYAR and dozens of kittens too.
