On sunday morning I had all of my records stolen off me. Someone walked up to me, grabbed them and jumped into a car and drove away. Its a silver record box with silver circles on it full of hardcore/jungle/reggae/dub vinyl. Its doubtful that I'll get them back but its worth a try. Just give us a shout if anyone hears anything. Would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

I'd alert local independant record store owners - Reflex, Jacks, Record Collector etc.

Unlike DVDs or electrical equippment, there are few places they will be able to offload vinyl.

Good luck getting them back - I know music is often very precious to its owner.

Keep an eye on ebay - if a job lot of similar stuff comes up someone might be trying to flog them on there.

Thanks. Yeah I rang Reflex earlier but they said they don't buy vinyl from people anymore. I'm gunna go around all the other record shops tomorrow but I very much doubt they will buy it anyway because none of the others do jungle n stuff. Still worth givin em a shout though coz the guy might try and sell them anyway.
Looked at Ebay and theres nothing there yet but I'll definately keep trying.

Have you got a list of what was in there? If so you could post it up and then we could all keep a look out round car boots and so on.

Feel for you dude, a vinyl collection is priceless and very personal. Keep your eye on ebay, as suggested, and discogs.com too, best places for selling vinyl. Nowhere in sheff really buys second hand vinyl of that type anymore. Best of luck

Why can't they go out and buy there own instead of pinching someone else's who has worked hard to build up their collection. It will be sentimental value more than anything. I hate thieves.
