Or you could just link to the page on the Opera website about it

Does it offer anything over some of the specialised BitTorrent clients? Their press release is a little basic..

doubt it, itll be a very basic version if anything, just another feature to try and win some ex IE'rs instead of firefox but tbh id rather use a standalone client

it is basic currently but its nice, as I dont have to worry about azureus eating system resources.

theres hundreds more torrent clients than azureous..........theres prolly loads that arent as resource hungry but have more features / options than a browser client

I find the proper python bit torrent client is the best, as it does what it says on the tin, and if you can be botherted to read the manual, it does everything you need.

azureus is known pretty much as the best

its the sleekest and the only one i dont get connection problems with.
its also open source (yay)

Before this thread is pulled, it should be pointed out that an increasing number of legitimate software companies are offering their downloads as torrents.

i havent discussed anything illegal here.

all of sourceforge.net (just about) is available on torrent, as is a lot of filefront

it seems like the mods have at last seen sense and IF nobody talks about illegal stuff then the threads seem to be staying put ........FINALLY, loks like me getting banned wasnt in vain after all

yeah most linux distributions are distributed via torrents too now, as well as the "normal" routes, ftp, html, cd etc

I used to swear by azurues butr wont touch it any more, i now us e bit tornadao and imo is the best faster d/l speeds and it doesn't crash my modem!!
