Unfortunatly, this time filling it in...
Im having to find homes for the 15 turtles we took in, and as im giving up my house back to the council, i have to return the garden to how it was...

I will be needing help from midweek onwards, the turtles should be gone then, and i have 1 month to make it all look like a normal garden.

I know lots of people helped, and im so sorry for that, but please dont think this is a easy decision, i have found a home for my 2 Igs too, the eldest i have had for 14 years, my 1st ever rescue..

I have, in the garden, that also has to go, hundreds of plant pots, hose pipes, garden table, bench, plenty of gardening things....tools, bits n bobs etc. and lots of pond plants....also preformed ponds, full of wonderfull goldfish and other cold water fish..

Quite a few useful things, lots of nice stone...so who ever can lend a hand, take what you want...it wont be no use to me anymore.

To refill the big hole made for the pond shouldnt be too hard, as its all piled up and just needs putting back in the hole, im willing to jump in and lend a hand....so to speak, as it was me who asked for the help in the first place...

Im so ashamed of letting the turtles down, but i am making sure, they all get good homes, not put to sleep or released into park ponds or rivers etc...i have been making sure the rest of the animals found good homes over the last few weeks, and i wont let the last ones left down either..

Thank you very much
Jules

still desperate for some help, yesterday i took the turtles, and the last of the tokays to new homes down south, got back about 5am...now i dont have a single reptile here that i have had for 14 years..

I really need help to fill the hole and remove stuff from the garden, and there are lots of useful things people can have....If there is something you want take it. Someone who will help is having one of the small ponds and fish etc.

Need to get it all done in a month...lots of wood i can burn if i can have some help to get it in the hole...

If anyone can spare half hour here or there please....i cant stand the sight of it now, esp after the hard work in the last year, and people helping...

Im leaving in a month, once i can clear the stuff in the house on freecycle.
thanks

Jules - perhaps I could lend a hand on sat afternoon after my husband is home from work?? I would come today but Id have the 4 kids in tow. Drop me a pm if you like - so sorry to hear you have had to give everything up.

edit to say - if you need a hand clearing stuff out we have a serena so just let us know if there is anything you want us to take for you to tip etc, although obviously I would have to do that without the kids in the car.

I'll be in touch Jules to help next week. Try not to burn the wood, I'll help take it to the tip. Freecycle as you know should take quite a lot of your stuff love. I could also take away some stone to repair my pond. Luv x PS - you haven't let any animals down.

Someone came earlier and helped me pile the wood in the big hole, tonight its going up..

Been giving away things already on FC, things i didnt want laying around....everything from inside the house starts going on next week....only right, thats where most of it came from.

Got lots of nice stone for you Maggie, and some other bits would like you to have.x

Give me a shout. I'm at a loose end right now due to things out of my control. I live in Shiregreen. Let me know where you are and I'll try my best to get to you.

I've just got online and had a message from Sezbetz offering a lift. I've been busy all day trying to sort my car. If I'd seen the message I'd have taken the offer as my car is really annoying me now! I'm hoping to be up and running by mid next week but I don't live too far from Firth Park so could walk if needed.

Its going up in flames tonight..I had to get out, not been good staying in so i needed a change of scenery and faces for the night.

Although i let the dog out this morning at 4am and fell into the hole..which i guess would have been funny had you been there to see it.

Would anyone know someone who could use a 6' koi pond filter unit, and other bits? was donated to us at the start of the year, but its not needed now, its big, heavy etc and not really aimed at the small garden pond....dont know if anyone knows a good cause who could use it...rather that then burn it with the last of the stuff this week....hate to see it goto waste
it needs to go this week, and i cant think of anywhere to offer it etc. its got to go this week, most of the stuff has gone (thanks to the people help who came up) and theres just a couple of things spoken for and then this week the garden should be back to normal and then i can sign the house back on fri and leave in a month.

thanks
