A bit of forward notice for another coastal walk. A 6-8 mile walk mainly along the cliff top between Reighton Gap, (near Filey) to Flamborough. Should be some stuning views and wonderful bird life to look at. I think theres a cafe at Bempton too though I would advise a pack up as usual.
Meet 10.45am for an 11am start. Place: car park outside reception, Reighton Sands Holiday Park, Reighton Gap, YO14 9SH
There is access to the beach from the car park if anyone fancies a dip when we return.

We'll (already) be there for this one, and are looking forward to seeing the birdies on Bempton Cliffs.

Looking forward to it. I remember there's some great scenery and wildlife round there from my past holidays.

I haven't walked this stretch yet. How will you get back from Flamb to Reighton?

We will walk back. Although I plan the walk to be 6-8 miles long so see what happens.

We'll probably not make it all the way to Flamborough, just go as far as Bempton.

the hull to scabs train stops at bempton, but think the bus may go near by, that is if people do not want to walk back.

it would be good if we did make it to flamborough not been in there in a while. xx
ok here is some trains from bempton 14.52pm then 17.00pm it takes about 10 mins to get to filey. £4.90
bus service we would have to go to bridlington and 121 goes from bus station (not far from sea front) about 7mins past the hour until 6.07pm just to give everyone a general idea (bempton beautiful)

If any couple would like to make a weekend of the Reighton walk I may be able to put you up in quite nearbye Scarborough either Frid and Sat night or just Sat night. My wife and I will be there and have a spare double room. It will cost you £10 pppn. Only available to regular members of your group. You will get your own key and of course be free to come and go as you please. If interested PM me.

Thanks for the offer. Most of those going on the walk are staying for the weekend and have booked caravans, but you might get interest from some late takers.
