Need a dental service

I'm an international student studying in the University of Sheffield. One of my teeth develops a problem and I think it needs a filling or probably to be extracted. Apart from private dentist (which many says are expensive), what other options that I have?

Unfortunately many of the dentists that still take NHS patients have their full quota. You may have to go private.

I think you're right... Just contacted NHS and the number of patients in queue is nearly 430 at the moment!
